10 and so I endure everything for the sake of God's chosen people, in order that they too may obtain the salvation that comes through Christ Jesus and brings eternal glory. (2 Timothy 2:10)
When we have the choice to 'go home' with the Lord, we sometimes need to choose to 'stay here' for the sake of those who still need the Gospel. Yes, God can raise other people. But for some tasks, God has given us the opportunity to execute it - even if it is uncomfortable. And we must endure for the sake of God's people - to obtain salvation (in Christ and salvation from bondage).
..I gotta endure; do the uncomfortable for the sake of God's chosen people.
Lord, please HELP ME as I ENDURE by DOING what you have tasked me to do. Please give me the courage to do so - beyond what I can do. Help me to step it up and trust that you have everything under control. In Jesus' name, amen.
