Obey and Believe to Rest

do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness, That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ” (Hebrews 3:8, 10, 11 NIV)

We already know the ways of God, and have seen his miracles and supernatural work... Yet we sometimes still fall into the ditch of unbelief.  Unbelief is tied to rebellion thus tied to not entering God's rest.  To enter God's rest is to believe in the promises of God and to be constantly aware of the miracles that he does in our lives daily, as well as hearing him when he speaks to us.. 

If I want to really enter God's rest, I ought to hear God's voice, obey it, believe it and live in accordance to his ways,  I ought to punch fear in the face daily, especially with what God is telling me to do.  

...Lord, help me to constantly be aware of you and to be obeying each time you speak. I ask that you help me to soften my heart to you especially on the things that you want me to take adventures on.  Please guide me and be with me in this journey.  I do want to enter your rest.  Help me to obey and believe.  In Jesus' name, amen.
