Spiritual House

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:4, 5 NASB)

What an honor to be part of God's priesthood.  To think that we are living stones who are being built up as a spiritual house is quite an honor.  One who is part of the priesthood of God is one who is chosen, one who offers spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Christ... Sacrifices may involve things that not a normal person would do. But those are honorable things that God has placed in us to do as our responsibility to be part of His priesthood.

God is building me into a spiritual house, daily, as part of His royal priesthood.  Everyday The Lord deals with me as He builds me into the fullness of a spiritual house (the salvation that is yet to come).  As one of God's spiritual house, I ought to be reflecting as one whom God is building as His house... I must be reflecting that.
