Who Sent You

13 But Moses asked, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them that their fathers’ God has sent me, they will ask, ‘Which God are you talking about?’ What shall I tell them?”

14 “‘The Sovereign God,’” was the reply. “Just say, ‘I Am has sent me!’ 15 Yes, tell them, ‘Jehovah, the God of your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has sent me to you.’ (This is my eternal name, to be used throughout all generations.)

Exodus 3:13-15 (LB)

Sometimes when we feel incompent and incapable to do the things that God calls us to do, remember "I AM sent you".

I do think of this sometimes when I think of the big things that God has ahead of me - to start a non-profit or even open a cafe business.  But, like Moses, when The Lord calls for the "big things" when we feel incapable and incompetent, just remember who sent you! Start marching forward until we "let the people go".

Non-profit -- what kind of people do we free? Those who are in bondage.

Cafe -- what kind does this bring? Could be the freedom from financial difficulty? Not sure yet..

Seems impossible right now. But I know "I AM has sent me" to do the impossible things and tasks. I gotta remember it always.

// Lord, thank you for your assurance and  for the great reminder that when you send us, though the task may be great, we ought to remember who You are, what You can do and what You are capable. I trust in You. In Jesus' name amen.
