The Glory of the Lord

Ezekiel 44:4b
I looked and saw the glory of the LORD filling the temple of the LORD, and I fell facedown.

Glory is defined by Noah Webster as:

(n.) The presence of the Divine Being; the manifestations of the divine nature and favor to the blessed in heaven; celestial honor; heaven.
When Ezekiel mentioned a few times in (chapter 43-44) that when the glory of the Lord came to fill the temple, he fell face down. It is a common reaction to fall to our face down when we experience and see the glory of God.

Falling face down, to me, could mean a complete humility; a visual distinction that we are not able to contain the glory of God - it is so great that when it comes down, we can't look straight at it.

The glory of God is enormously unexplainable. This reveals who our God is, how great and powerful He is.

BELLE:

Because He is that great, I have no right to be prideful before God. Everything I do for Him are filthy rags.. yet I know that He is pleased with the little things that I do for Him.

Because He is so great and He uses me for His own pleasure, I must be excellent in the little things that I do for Him.

Because He is allowing me to share in His glory, to share in a sense that I can take part and experience that glory - His glory to be revealed and none of mine, I must make sure that all the glory are given wholly to Him for all the little accomplishments that He allows me to experience.

BRINGING GLORY TO GOD IN EVERYTHING THAT I DO will cause other people to see who He is. The great things that we do in the eyes of men may be small before God, but these small things are enough for people to see who God is.

May everything that I do for God bring glory to Him and will cause other people to see His power and great glory fall.

:: Lord, how awesome You are! I pray that all the things I do for You will bring You glory and praise. In everything that I do, may you humble me and remove any strand of pride because I have no right to even act that way. I pray that in all that I will do are just to bring glory to YOU! In Jesus' name, amen.
