Give What You Have

Wk 40 Day 7

Acts 3:6
Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."

.. A great example of giving away what you have
.. Peter and John may not have silver or gold to give to the beggar, but they gave away what they possessed - Jesus Christ.
.. Very simple truth yet, profound.
.. We cannot give what we do no have. What do you have to give? What's the weight of what you're giving? Are you only giving shallow things (silver/gold/possessions) or are you giving people Jesus Christ?

APPS:

.. I need to fill myself more and more with Jesus Christ - totally soaking myself in the presence of God daily - through prayer, fasting, and reading of His Word. Just continually spending time with God everywhere I go; thinking about Him and meditating on God anytime, anywhere.
.. I will give to others what I have - JESUS.
.. Shallow givings will only last a little bit; but giving the profound truth will last a lifetime!

// LORD, I may already have known this before, yet you constantly remind me the importance of filling myself up with your power and strength daily. You are great and awesome. I praise you with everything that I am and I WILL LIVE FOR YOU!!! I love you Jesus, my Lord and Saviour. Help me to not keep in what I have but to give it away freely and boldly. Give me courage and boldness to do this anywhere, anytime, to anyone. In Jesus' name, amen.
