for Wk 41 Day 4

Psalm 119:28
My soul is weary with sorrow;
strengthen me according to your word.

.. God's Word is life
.. God's Word (with his promises in it) preserves life
.. God's Word is lamp and light
.. God's Word is shield and hope
.. God's Word lets us live; it sustains life
.. God's Word directs life

WHAT ELSE CAN WE ASK FOR?

.. I must treasure His Word more than my daily bread
.. In it I can get comfort when I am weary, when I am sad, when I am happy, and when I am glad
.. I can walk in righteousness because of God's Word
.. People will know God because of His Word and His promises - I must live them daily

// PRACTICAL STUFF

.. More and more, I must treasure God's Word by putting it first daily and before I sleep at night without fail - as much as possible!
.. Continue to be faithful in what I am already doing - writing down what God tells me through His Word and diligently reading the Word day and night.
.. I must constantly think about it and apply whatever situation may arise during the day! Asking "What does God's word say about this?"

// LORD, Your Word is amazing! I don't know what else to say or to ask for, You have already given it all. Thank you! May I treasure it more than I do now by not only reading it but by living it daily, all the days of life, forever! In Jesus' name, so be it!
