Wk 50 Day 6

Revelation 9:20-21 [AMP]

²⁰And the rest of humanity who were not killed by these plagues even then did not repent of [the worship of] the works of their [own] hands, so as to cease paying homage to the demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor move. ²¹And they did not repent of their murders or their practice of magic (sorceries) or their sexual vice or their thefts.

// THOUGHTS:

.. There are still many things I do not understand in the book of Revelation. Seeing [reading] all the great and horrible stuff that are going to happen in the last days makes me think of how short life really is.
.. V. 20 talks about having some who "did not repent of the works of their hands..." - there will be people like this in the last days. Those who will probably have super-calloused hearts that may not even have the inch to feel the need of repentance. How sad!

// BELLE:

.. How do these things apply to my own personal life? I need to live out my life daily for the spreading of God's name - the Saviour, the Salvager, the Lord Almighty - one who can take us out of the pit we are doomed into if we do not have Christ.
.. What am I doing to do this? I must always have the goal in mind at all times - share the Word - spread the Word - tell them about God's love - everywhere I go in any way I can. I must not waste any minute. I know there are times I do forget about this, but this should not be. This is my reason for living - to share Christ to the world. Everything I do and everyone around me is an opportunity to show Christ.
.. I gotta be faithful!

// Lord, empower me daily. Remind me of my purpose - to spread the Good News of salvation. Oh Lord, may you give me the urgency to spread Your Gospel to the world [even in the world where I am directly involved in]. It is YOU I live for; help me to really live that out. In Jesus' name, amen.
