Acts 26:20b
"... I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds."

.. salvation includes repentance
.. repentance includes proofs
.. proofs include deeds

.. that's the complete package of salvation
.. how have I proven my own repentance?
.. what things have already changed in my life?
.. what do others say have changed?

.. this is what I ought to remember when preaching salvation
.. the complete package of salvation = believing in Christ, repenting from sins, and deeds to prove the genuineness of salvation [of course, all these are truly between the person and God. I may see someone with these "proofs", yet is really not a true believer. The Spirit will bear witness that we really are the sons of God.]

.. In my life, I will continue to mature in the faith - proving my salvation to others as a testimony of what Christ has done in my life.
.. I will not stop knowing God, learning more about Him, and living out what I have learned.
.. Very cliche-ish, but this is truth!

// Lord, Your saving grace still amazes me. You have saved me from the bottomless pit. And I am forever grateful. Help me to continue in my maturity in You. Thank you for the privilege of knowing You and having You personally in my life. I pray that I will also be able to consistently, personally, share this hope to those who do not have it yet as well as be faithful in helping others grow in You. You are awesome.
