Romans 4:13, 18-21
13It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
18Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."a]"> 19Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah's womb was also dead. 20Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

// ABRAHAM

.. Became the father of many nations because of his righteousness - through faith
.. He believed in hope - against all hopes (v. 18)
.. Did not weaken in his faith - though the physical was showing something else (v. 19)
.. Did not waver through unbelief (v. 20a)
.. The promise strengthen his faith and he gave glory to God (v. 20b)
.. Was persuaded that God has the power to do what He had promised (v. 20c)

// THOUGHTS

.. Hope against all hopes
.. Weaken not in the faith - even if the tangible is showing something else
.. Unbelief can waver my faith - I must not doubt
.. Let the promise strengthen our faith
.. Give glory to God already - even without seeing it coming yet in reality
.. Be fully persuaded that He who promised is faithful
.. God is able to do what He's promised to do
.. With all these, walk in RIGHTEOUSNESS in the covering of our faith in Christ

// BELLE

.. I will strengthen my faith more and more
.. I will give glory to God already for fulfilling His promises in my life in His own appointed time [Kairos]
.. I just wait when it comes tangibly
.. For right now, I must just believe that He will do miraculous things in my life according to His own good pleasure and will
.. I will walk in righteousness - do whatever pleases Him and let Him be continually glorified in my life; even tho at times, it is so hard to deal with certain people! I will choose righteousness; suck it in, and exercise self-control as Jesus would. =)

// LORD, how many times have You proven Yourself to me? Countless. It's all up to me now, I just need to obey You and trust and grow in my faith. Let my faith be strengthened by Your truth - Your Word. And as I exercise my faith daily, I pray that You will help me remember what You have said. The promises that is all over Your Word that reminds me of who You are in my life. I pray that You will guide me and give me the ability to exercise great humility as I want to be conformed to Your Son Jesus Christ all the days of my life. Please give me the power, I know I can do it when I rest all of this in You. In Jesus' name, amen.
