Proverbs 4:23
 ²³ Above all else, guard your heart,
       for it is the wellspring of life.

 ²⁶ Make level paths for your feet
       and take only ways that are firm. 

Guarding our hearts is important for it is where the issues of life come out.
It is important to only take ways that are firm; therefore, I must make sure I have things though out before I take any paths. 


Lord, thank you for the this day and the opportunity to be with friends and family.  Thank you for this short reminder of the importance of my heart and guarding it properly.  Help me to also be strong that in my heart I will not be taking wrong paths.  Guide me Oh Lord as you always do.  Thank you for everything.  Thank you Lord in Jesus' name, amen.
