Good Conscience

Week 7 Day 5
Leviticus 27, Acts 23

Acts 23:1, 35b
1 Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, “My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.”

Then he ordered that Paul be kept under guard in Herod’s palace.

In all good conscience - that's the goal of our ministry; that each one of us will be fulfilling God's call in our lives with pure hearts, motives, and intentions.

Paul's good conscience may have brought him trials and troubles but it also has brought him to places perhaps, not many accused people have gone to, such as Herod's palace.

Keep a good conscience.  The Lord honors it because He's the only one who sees it!

// BELLE:

When there are hints of dirtiness in my conscience, motives, or intentions, I must rid of it immediately on my end.  The Lord always desires for me to be pure, therefore, I know He will help me filter it out immediately.

I will do my part faithfully whether people see it or not.  I will maintain a good conscience and making sure my heart is free of any selfish motives and intentions.

Let Jesus be the King of my heart - meaning, none of my own agenda at any time.

Lord, You are my Lord.  Please forgive me for the times when I have marred my heart with wrong motives and selfish intentions in any thing I have engaged myself into.  I pray that You will help me as I maintain good conscience for I know You will honor that and You also will be glorified.  I know You will help me, please help me cooperate with you.  In Jesus' name, amen.
