Careful and Watchful

Week 10 Day 2
Deut. 4-5; Psalm 36; Mark 13

Deuteronomy 4:9
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

// THOUGHTS:

.. What God has done for us and to us ought to be remembered.
.. With what we have seen (God's works), we ought to be careful and watchful (give heed, preserve).
.. Why?  So we don't forget or let them fade.
.. What? What God has taught.
.. What else?  To teach what we have learned to our children and the generations below us.

// BELLE:

I need to be careful and watchful with what God has already taught me so I won't forget or let them fade.  To be careful and watchful means to preserve - always keep it fresh deep within my heart and soul.

Practicals :: I will get back to my normal routine with my intense devotions and personal worship time with God.  I will get back listening to audiobooks (as I already started again, praise God!) and reading books - maintaining a good study habit of the Word and other stuff that will help me keep God's commands fresh in my heart and mind.  I will continually apply all things that I have learned daily.

// LORD, these are a lot of things to catch up with.  Please empower me and I know You would.  Thank you that as you call me to do things, you always equip me.  In Jesus' name, amen.
