His Faithfulness

Week 10 Day 1
Deut. 1-2; Mark 12

Deuteronomy 2:7
 7 The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.

The Lord is indeed faithful!  Regardless of the hardheartedness and hardheadedness of the Israelites, the Lord remained faithful to them - provided and guided them in all things and in all of their godly endeavors.

How many of us have experienced the same thing?  With our hardheartedness and hardheadedness, the Lord still remains faithful to us!  Our response ought to be thankfulness and praises to Him.

Sometimes we don't feel that attitude because we are too used to our bad attitudes of hardness of heart and head.  To maintain this thankful attitude, we need to constantly choose and will to be conditioned to be thankful in all things - realizing that the Lord is faithful every single day!

// BELLE:

The Lord is really faithful to me.  Even at the time when I was "roaming around" for some time getting to the "promised land" the Lord has been faithful to me, providing and guiding me in all the work of my hands.  I need to always remember this - how faithful He is to me even at the times of hardedness!  How embarrassing it is to think about this before the Lord's perfection.  He is faithful to me ALL THE TIME!

// Lord, forgive me for my shortcomings.  You are indeed faithful to me.  Thank you for blessing the works of my hands, watching me through my journeys, being with me, and have provided for me in all places that I've been.  I want to always be thankful to you and I pray that you help me as I develop that character of thankfulness deep within me.  Thank you for always been faithful to me - now and always!  I worship You, in Jesus' name, amen.
