Week 8 Day 7
Numbers 17-18; Psalm 29; Mark 4
Psalm 29:4-5; 7-9
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.
5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
7 The voice of the LORD strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;
the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 The LORD sits enthroned over
the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
Who can compare to the Lord Almighty? There is NONE!
His voice is powerful, as the Psalmist says.
.. majestic as with the flashes of lightning
.. strong as with a shaking desert
.. all-powerful as a twisting oak (mighty tree!) and strips the forest bare
.. all we can say is "GLORY!"
At whatever season or event in life (like a flood - v. 10), He remains seated on the throne - He is still God! He is still enthroned as King forever! No event in life or on earth can ever dethrone the Lord. He remains who He is!
// BELLE:
When the Lord speaks, all the impossible will happen. Have I trusted that when He will speak about certain matters, He will carry it through and make it happen? Or have I still been doubting His work in my life?
I want to hear the Lord speak some more - whether through His Word or in any way He wants to do it. I just need to be prepared about what He will speak about; that I will be ready to hear and see His manifestation come to pass!
For now, I will be prepared! For when the Lord will speak, I will be ready to see His majesty and power as His promises and His Word unfolds right before my very eyes!
To God be the Glory! It all belongs to You Oh Lord! When You speak about something, You will be crystal clear! Please help me as I prepare for that. In Jesus' name, amen.
