You Are God

Week 8 Day 5
Numbers 12-13; Psalm 90; Mark 2

Psalm 90:2
Before the mountains were born
   or you brought forth the whole world,
   from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

What else can we ask for with God?  He is everything and all that we need.  This verse talks about the vastness of God - how He is before time and is not within the concept of time.

If this is how great God is described as, what reason can anyone give to be worried about the small things in life?  No reason at all.

// BELLE:

I revere and fear My God!  This is how great He is!  I ought not to worry about the little things in life because He is the God from everlasting to everlasting - He knows it all; past, present, future.  As long as I remain in His presence, it's all gonna be alright!

Knowing the greatness and vastness of God, I must continually live my life as one who has this kind of God - the Almighty!  My life must show His greatness - in the way I live daily, in the way I relate to Him personally or through other people (home, church, friends, acquaintances, etc), and the mission that God has given to me.  He is great.  I worship The Great.  I live for The Great.  Therefore, I can do great things through Him!  So long for all the defeated lifestyle!  My God is great and therefore, He can be great in me!

Lord, You are awesome as always!  You always lead me to revere You even more.  Thank you so much for this time of communion with You that You reveal who You are and what You want to do in my life.  Forgive me for belittling the things I can do through Your power - how dare I say those things even just in my head.  I pray that Your greatness will be evident in my life daily.  You are God, and I worship YOU!  In Christ Jesus' name, amen.
