Week 20 Day 3
1 King 1; 1 Chro. 28; Psalm 91; 1 Thess. 5

1 Chronicles 28:11-12
Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, its storerooms, its upper parts, its inner rooms and the place of atonement. He gave him the plans of all that the Spirit had put in his mind for the courts of the temple of the Lord and all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the temple of God and for the treasuries for the dedicated things.

Thoughts:
David was set in his decision, based on God's command and confirmation, to make Solomon (his son) king over Israel.  His decision was followed through with passing on the plans and desires that he had for the building of the temple of the Lord.  He was organized (yesterday's post) and prepared everything for the big transition that was about to happen.

Lessons:
The Lord is not short-handed in carrying through the Godly desires that we have.  He will still provide ways on how these desires will get fulfilled whether it be in our time or authority or through someone else and/or another time.  The important thing is that we are accepting and submissive to what God wants to do.  He's always got His best ways of doing things ALL for our good and ALL for His glory.

For now, I know God has His best plans laid out.  Though I may not see all of them yet, I know that if I am accepting of the next season of my life, everything will be alright.  I will be faithful in the preparation process, the planning, and providing the necessary things to make this transition process efficient and effective by the power of the Holy Spirit.  I am excited for what God is going to do!  It'll all be for the best and for His glory!

>>>

Lord, it's been 3 days in a row now with this message.  I pray that you will just guide me and empower me as do this transition process with ease and sound mind that I may be able to organize things properly and provide the necessary things for the "building of Your temple."  God I trust in You and I will just be faithful.  In Jesus' name, amen.
