Week 20 Day 2
1 Chr. 25-27; 1 Th. 4
1 Chronicles 25:1 (GNT)
King David and the leaders of the Levites chose the following Levite clans to lead the worship services: Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun. They were to proclaim God's messages, accompanied by the music of harps and cymbals. This is the list of persons chosen to lead the worship, with the type of service that each group performed...

When David did his preparation for the transition of leadership, he made sure everything was set to order. He didn't just go without making sure everything was organized. He organized everything to detail of what needed to be done.
_Solomon (though he was also full of wisdom), was passed on a kingdom that's already been set and all he had to do was rule and manage (at least to begin with.)
_David left his position with peace knowing that up to the last "breath" of his leadership, he did his best and part in making sure he fulfilled what he had to do.

Still in the prep process. I will and will put things in order now - to its specifics in roles, positions, and tasks. Will take some time to really be thinking about what needs to be done - how things need to be put together so the transition process will be smooth. I need to be faithful in doing this "last leg" work before the breather season takes place.
The temptation is to just take an "early breather season" and not fulfill the necessary tasks. But these few weeks must be taken as a short prep season for it to be ready when the breather season begins. God will bless it and I will be faithful in doing my part.
>>>
Lord, please guide me and give me the right mind-set as I do this prep process. I pray that You direct my thoughts to what I need to do, covering all aspects that things will go smoothly. Even to this detail, you speak to me. Thank you so much for ALWAYS being timely whenever I read Your Word. You are awesome, Lord. I love You, in Jesus' name, amen.
