In The Lord

Week 23 Day 7
Song 1-4; Eph. 6

Ephesians 6:10, 13 (NLT)

 ¹⁰ A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 

 ¹³ Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

Only IN THE LORD'S mighty power that we'll be able to stand firm even after a battle.  Otherwise, we'll be easy targets who are unable to fight back nor stand firm- causing us to die or shrink back!

What kind of armor?

• belt of truth 
• body armor of God’s righteousness. 
• the peace that comes from the Good News
• the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
• salvation as your helmet
• the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
• praying in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion.

The enemy is clever.  We need to counteract its schemes by being strong IN THE LORD.  That's the only way to win this spiritual battle.

// Putting them on daily!  Only IN THE LORD I can win this battle!  I know I have been going through a lot this past few months and only IN THE LORD I am really able to stand strong and be victorious!  I will continually do so and strengthening myself IN THE LORD still!

// Lord, I know You always provide for me the things that I need especially the spiritual aspect of things. I pray that You will guide me and help me to embrace it at all times that no matter what happens, I will continually just strengthen myself IN YOUR TRUTH that I may always win IN YOUR NAME!  By the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name, amen.
