Ecc. 10-12; Psalm 94; Eph. 5
Ecclesiastes 10:10
10 Using a dull ax requires great strength,
so sharpen the blade.
That’s the value of wisdom;
it helps you succeed.
so sharpen the blade.
That’s the value of wisdom;
it helps you succeed.

.. Dull - requires more effort
.. Sharp - less effort to be more successful
.. Sharpen our "blades" so we can be more successful in what we do.
.. Blades - things we use for work; our instrument used

That's why there are times when I feel I am working "too hard" - perhaps, wasting time and energy because my "blades" are too dull. I need to sharpen them again - how? relearning stuff (back and forth - like how they'd sharpen a blade), going back to basics, and applying/doing them immediately - not waiting around until the "blade" gets dull again.
>>>>
Lord, please help me as I resharpen my blade again. I know that's why it's been hard these few weeks is because things have gone "rusty." I pray that as I go through the process of going back to basics and relearning things over again, that You give me a new set of eyes and ideas that I can use daily in continually living for You. I pray that You be my "blade sharper" always - that even with trials that I go through, I am also sharpened by those (at least in that aspect.) Thank You Lord, In Jesus' name, amen.
