Prayer FOR ALL

1 Timothy 2:1-2
1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior...

The importance of prayer FOR ALL PEOPLE, FOR KINGS, and ALL THOSE IN AUTHORITY is for sake of peace, godliness, holiness, and for the pleasure of God our Savior!

How much are we praying for ALL people?  For those IN AUTHORITY?
If we aren't experiencing such peace, godliness, and holiness, is it because we are not praying for ALL people?  Possibly.

// Practicals:

  • What causes me not to pray more meaningfully than I should?  Lack of good time management, spending time on other things [unnecessary browsings, readings, even Facebook or Twitter and spending too much time on "doing" rather than spending more time on "being" on the personal level]
  • In what way will I implement this command of God to pray?  Spend a considerable amount of time in the morning - like it used to and better!  Spend less time on social networks for now, until I am able to be back on my normal "prayer routine" again.
  • Refocus mind on prayer - at all times!
// Lord, thank you for such an awesome reminder again about prayer and keeping the peace, godliness, and holiness FOR ALL people - and those in authority!  I just pray for your strength that I may be able to overcome any form of spiritual laziness or compromising to complacency in my prayer time.  Please help me to organize my time wisely that I may only be doing productive things in my days.  I want to live for You and do things that pleases you.  Guide m Lord, in Jesus' name and by the power of your Holy Spirit, amen!
