Micah 2:7b
“Do not my words do good to him whose ways are upright?”
Yes, truly God’s words will be food and good to those who lives according to the righteousness of God. Man may have the option to either walk on God’s ways or the world’s ways. It is important to walk in the path of uprightness and it is then, that the word of the Lord will be good to us.
Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
Psalm 15:1-2 Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart…
I must continually walk in the ways of the upright – no matter what happens in my life, God calls me to live in uprightness. I can rely on the word that it will do good to me when I do because God does not hold back to those whose ways are lived out in integrity. God sees my heart and I must walk in His righteousness regardless of the challenges I may encounter in life! He will not withhold the good that His word can bring about to and in my life! I will live for Him!
// Lord, thank You that Your word is real and is promising. Not only it promises good hope but it is also alive. It will happen, just as you’ve said it would. I praise You because You always lead me through your rod and staff to the right places and the right people and the right thinking regardless of all the distractions that come along the way. I will make the most of the time you have given me and will walk in uprightness and integrity for the glory of Your name! In Jesus’ name, amen.
