In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, IN ORDER TO FULFILL THE WORD OF THE LORD SPOKEN BY JEREMIAH, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and to put it in writing...
The Lord...
.. will always fulfill what He says
.. is trustworthy is His words and promises, whether spoken by others or through His direct Word
.. will do anything to make sure His word and promises are fulfilled without violating our freewill, of course. (We still have the choice to obey the stirring of our hearts.)
I can always trust in the living Word of God. Eventho it may take some time in my own time perspective, I know that i can bank on the Word and promises of God. Whatever promise God has impressed in my.heart, i can be assured that He will make a way for them to be fulfilled or for them to come to pass. I must know the promises of God esp in areas where I know I may have a hard time trusting God on. So far, I know God has given me the grace to trust in His Word and promises. I will bank on them daily, remind myself of God's unchanging nature, and rejoice in the assurance that He will do what His Word says and what He promised.
.. He will give me the best for His glory to be revealed and shown
.. He will bring those ppl whom Ive prayed for salvation and changed lives
.. He will fill my jar with overflowing goodness and provision as I obey and sow the seed of what i now have
.. He will not leave "the throne" empty
.. Obedience will cause offsprings to live great and pleasing lives for His name to be exalted!
Lord, there's a lot more Ive missed, but these are what I can remember. Praise Your name for your promises and your Word will never fail. Glory to your name for all that you have done and still going to do. In Jesus' name, be glorified, amen.
