Patient Endurance

Revelation 14:12

This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

Lamentations 2:17a

The LORD has done what he planned;
   he has fulfilled his word,
   which he decreed long ago.

THE LORD

.. Is true to His Word

.. Will do what He says He will do

.. Is a fair and just judge

PEOPLE

.. Can both be obedient and disobedient

CHRISTIANS

.. Called to have patient endurance

.. Need to keep the commands of God til the end

.. Need to remain faithful to Jesus

WORLD

.. Currently in the last days

.. Will fade away

 

// Since we are now in the last days, I must continue to live my life as if it were last.  Make the most of it because time is running out.  Forgive people.  Forget past deeds.  Trust that the Lord will do what He says and will be a just judge.  I can trust that He will vindicate me and will be on my side all the way.  All the hurts and pains will eventually go away and therefore I must continue to live a clean and quiet life before the Lord.  I need to endure and be faithful to the Lord regardless of what’s going on around.  The Lord is faithful.

 

// LORD, be my strength as I endure and remain faithful to You.  You are my joy and whatever You delight in me is what gives me strength.  Thank You that you keep your Word and that You will fulfill Your promises.  I pray that You would empower me to do the things You called me to do.  As I leave 2011, I also pray and desire to give me new visions, new desires, new relationships, new true believing friends, new acquaintances, and everything NEW!  Newness is found in You and I will live in it.  Thank you for the coming answer and I will trust that Your ways are always higher than  mine!  THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU JESUS!  In Your name, amen.
