Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? (John 3:10 NLT)
It is amazing that Nicodemus was already a person of spiritual authority yet did not know about the concept of being born new in Christ. One would wonder how a person who supposedly has studied so much Bible that it does not equate salvation nor the complete understanding of it. Yet it has happened to Nicodemus. A few principles i see here:
- religiosity vs salvation
- knowledge doesnt mean understanding
