Pondered

Luke 2:19
But Mary treasured up all these things in her heart.

When all that's been said by the angel and literally done by the revealing and fulfillment of God's promise to Mary, she pondered them in her heart -- treasured them up.

When the Lord tells us something, we can be assured that (1) it will happen, (2) we can count on Him, (3) we will just be speechless and ponder them in our hearts just as Mary did. I wonder if she was shocked to the fact that this was starting to happen and was literally in front of her eyes.

"The present participle, pondering. Lit., bringing together: comparing and weighing facts. Wyc., bearing together in her heart."

When this happens to me, I have nothing else to do but to ponder them and worship the Lord for He has brought His ways and will to its realization. Nothing can be further from what's about to occur in the Lord's time. At this point, I do not know what is coming ahead of me as God's vessel. Something great and radical that will bring glory and salvation to people.. At this time of anticipation, I will just prepare and be ready for its realization. I am anticipating in faith knowing that this is something that Lord will really do. I can treasure up each moment as it slowly brings occurrence.. I can ponder them in my heart as Mary did and just praise the Lord. The result of Mary's obedience and submission to the Lord not only brought salvation (which is the greatest ever!) but also a great experience for the vessel, Mary. I am willing to experience the same and I will just worship the Lord as they slowly occur.

For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed. (Luke 1:48 NLT)

// Lord, I just trust in Your plans. May You continue to empower me as I prepare for whatever You have prepared for me as Your vessel. Thank you for the opportunity to experience and be used by You to bring salvation to those you want to be impacted woth this. I dont know what it is yet but as I wait for You, I will be faithful to You? Thank You for already the wonderful experience. I love you Jesus! I commit all these to You in Your name Jesus amen.
