The Great Listener

Psalm 22:24
For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.

God is a great listener. He has enormous amount of patience to hear us out - Even the most dumb things that we say. Even though we ladon't even say the right things exactly, God filters it out for us in our prayers to the Father. The point is, God hears our cries - therefore, we must not hold back in our cries to Him. God knows our sufferings and does not hide himself from us. He likes to look at us and let's us see His face - therefore, we have been provided with comfort by Him turning His face to us (tells us that we have value).

God knows the cries of my heart, the suffering of what I've been afflicted with and He has not hidden his face from me and is always willing to listen for my cry for help. Why do I sometimes hold back in crying out to God? Crying out is an act of humility. Crying out means reaching out to His Almighty Power that can provide more strength to weak ones such as me. The point is, I need to cry out more to the Lord and just be open to Him no matter what. Then be willing to see what the Lord says when He speaks up about what we're crying out about.

Lord I do desire to cry out to you more. Help me to not hold back and to make time in really speaking to You openly. I just open up my heart to you in everything i do. Guide my thoughts and heart to hear what You are telling me as you've heard the cry of my heart. In Jesus' name, amen.
