Chin Up

THEREFORE, SINCE we do hold and engage in this ministry by the mercy of God [granting us favor, benefits, opportunities, and especially salvation], we do not get discouraged (spiritless and despondent with fear) or become faint with weariness and exhaustion. Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day. (2 Corinthians 4:1, 16 AMP)

..It is God's mercy for us to serve Him in ministry
..Therefore, do not lose heart
..We can be exhausted, yet not giving up in the work of God
..There is constant renewal inwardly as we seek Christ

// Whenever I feel discouraged, I need to remember that is only through God's mercy that I am able to be where I am. Though I am weak and at times, not able to carry on the task as good as I did before, I need to "keep my chin up" and draw out the renewal received by the inner self daily

// Lord, truly at times I am tired and weary... Yet I know you are renewing g me day by day. Help me to remember that it is only through your mercy why we even can serve. Thank you so much for everything and I ask that you help me just trust and rely on you to strengthen me. In Jesus' name amen.
