1 Chronicles 15:2, 14, 16

Then David said, None should carry the ark of God but the Levites, for the Lord chose them to carry the ark of God and to minister to Him forever.

14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel.

16 David told the chief Levites to appoint their brethren the singers with instruments of music—harps, lyres, and cymbals—to play loudly and lift up their voices with joy.

// God has ordained for us specific tasks in the Kingdom.  Some are called to be ministering in the secular world and some in the sacred world.  God equips us and places us in positions where we can perform the duties God calls us to do.

The Levites were called to 'carry the ark of God' - thus ministering in the sacred field.  Some of Levites were 'chiefs' and some appointed as 'musicians'.

Somehow, by God's grace, I have possessed both.  Thus, I know that I have consecrated myself to do the work of the Lord in a 'sacred' field. God has opened doors for me thus far - youth ministry, music ministry, Cleansing Stream, Good News Club, etc.  And perhaps, new avenues that will come in the future.  No doubt, God will open doors where I can perform the talents God has given me in music, administration, leadership, and teaching the Word.  I will be open to God's leading when it comes to new 'positions' ahead.

// Lord, I only want to be where you want me to be.  I pray that You will help me to discern the places and areas where I ought to be at, now and later, that I may be in the center of Your will always.  Please guide me especially with new opportunities that may come my way - that I may discern if those are part of your plan in my life.  In Jesus' name, amen.
