But

He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, but not as his father and mother had done. He got rid of the sacred stone of Baal that his father had made. Nevertheless he clung to the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he did not turn away from them. (2 Kings 3:2, 3 NIV)

Very interesting that Joram was compared to his father and mother with having "lesser" sins, yet he still didn't fully repent.  He still "clung to the sins" that caused people of Israel to commit as well.

When the Lord calls us to change it is for its entirety.  We don't want to that we have turned away from sins BUT not fully.  Let us constantly examine ourselves to (1) not compare ourselves with others, (2) to completely repent fully, not only some.

// I will fully turn away from all that I have asked The Lord forgiveness from, not to compare myself with others but to be focused on just doing what is righteous in then eyes of God.  I be fully ALL for The Lord.

// Lord, I want to fully turn away from anything that I have already turned away from.  Help me to live for you 100% and to always be living for the glory of your name. In Jesus' name, amen.
