Interesting how people really wrestle in prayer for others. What does prayer have that we use it to contend for others? Much much power, when prayed in faith in Christ. Have I been wrestling in prayer for others? I need to. What a great acknowledgement of Paul to let others know that Epaphras has been contending in prayer for others and wrestling in prayer for others' good. What a selfless heart.
I've got to be wrestling in prayer for others, issues and for others' good. I sometimes am lazy to pray but yet always wanting to wrestle for others without much prayer. I need to pray and will pray no matter what it takes.
Lord, I ought to pray. Yet there are many distractions that I feel is stopping me - myself first and foremost, then things around me that I sometimes don't seem to contain rather allow. Help me to be intentional in my prayer life even more so than usual. Thank you Lord for your conviction. In Jesus' name,amen.
